sometimes

on Sunday mornings, I bust out some mission tunes, and I hate to brag, but if you're wondering if I do a dead-on Kenneth Cope impression, the answer is yes.

But can you sing "Marriage for Eternity" from the Old Testament Seminary Soundtrack with perfect inflection? Like Isaac, I'll follow and prepare... My sweet angel will be hearing a personal rendition of that gem right after church. Good thing the CD also has an instrumental version to facilitate kareoke

Does andrew sing the boy part in "whatever it takes?"

That is not something I would ever admit.

True confession: Every once in awhile, during a lesson about the Plan of Salvation... the music/lyrics to "My Turn on Earth" creep into my head and won't go away.

And I didn't even serve a mission.

Ha ha I totally believe it. This reminds me of the time Kenneth Cope performed in the Tabernacle for a clean teen New Years Eve and at the end of "We Believe" he screamed "Keep Believing Salt Lake City" like a rock star. The audience was so confused by the collision of spiritual and rockin' moments that they didn't know how to react AND they didn't react. I'm pretty sure I heard crickets.
